Portable career
Since my education at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam I have been an independent artist. I paint with oil and acrylic, but make digital drawings and paintings on an iPad as well. I lived in many places around the world because of my wife's international career. I made paintings in India, the United States, Senegal, Ghana, Mali, the Netherlands, Mozambique and Switzerland. I could show them at many important exhibitions in almost all those countries.
I also do commissioned portraits in oil, with which I have gained extensive experience. You can contact me about this. In 2013 I won the first prize in The Hague for the best portret of the Dutch King Willem-Alexander.
I am a member of the Haagse Kunstkring (The Hague Art Circle) and registered with Stroom (haagsekunstenaars.nl)
